These last few months were a real whirlwind! While I studied hard in my Spring Term, I was part of an opera production (Mustardseed in the Guildhall Opera Course production of Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream), had weekly auditions all over Europe for opera studios, competitions and jobs, and organized a charity concert in collaboration with Transforming Autism. And while the massive amount of work paid off with compliments and praise, I needed a break. But I am back in London, ready to finish off my Master’s degree in style! Featuring a worldpremiere in Wigmore Hall, 3 performances with the London Symphony Ochestra production of Janacek’s Cunning Little Vixen in Barbican Hall and Philharmonie de Paris, covering Venus in John Blow’s Venus and Adonis for the Guidhall Opera Course, my Final Recital on June 7, and starring in the charity concert on June 19.

If this sounds like a lot.. it is! But as my friends and colleagues know, I like to work hard. So I hope to see you at any of these events in the coming weeks and months!

And after my Master is done, I will be returning to the Netherlands for a little break and to take some time to plan out my next step. I’m very excited about the future!
