Amazing result at Charity Concert for Ukrainian refugees

On December 15 2022 the Borculo Male Choir organised a charity concert to raise funds to help Ukrainian refugees.

A number of these refugees were brought to the concert venue and enjoyed Ukrainian Christmas songs, a capella pieces and well known classics.When I heard of this generous initiative I decided to offer my services and join the concert.

Afterward I received this email from the management of the choir:

Thank you for performing with no compensation, with your ‘golden’ voice, in aid to the Ukrainian refugees.

I’ve had many positive reactions on this evening, “varied, unforced, amazing singing, enjoyed it, what an amazing voice”.

And partly because of your participation we received a voluntary donation amount we could only ever dream of: € 1265,-

Fijn dat je je belangeloos hebt ingezet, met je “gouden” stem, voor hulp aan Oekraïne.

Ik heb veel positieve reacties gekregen op die avond, “afwisselend, ongedwongen, prachtig gezongen, genoten, wat een geweldige stem”, en mede door jouw inbreng is er een bedrag aan vrije gift opgehaald, waar wij alleen maar van konden dromen: € 1265,-
