Starting in September 2025, Cultuur in de Wijk, in collaboration with Het Werkt Sociaal (Social Works), will conduct a social and cultural exploration in the Holtenbroek neighborhood. This exploration focuses on the street signs bearing the names of composers: what do these names mean for the neighborhood, what are their musical roots, and what stories resonate with residents?
This exploration is already resulting in unique encounters and musical gatherings. Residents are drawing to classical music, listening together, and creating new music inspired by the composers who gave their streets their names.

AUDIO TOUR
The audio tour will officially launch in Holtenbroek on April 25, 2026. This will provide a glimpse into the project’s future in the fall of 2026.
MUSIC THEATRE FESTIVAL
A music theater festival is planned for October 17, 2026, bringing together all the project’s proceeds—the stories, the music, and the encounters.
