In the fall of 2023 I embarked on my first chorus job in years: I joined Consensus Vocalis to perform in Das Wunder der Heliane. This masterpiece by Erich Korngold had been produced by the Nederlandse Reisopera, and played by the Noord Nederlands Orkest o.l.v. Jac van Steen. Featuring THE Heliane of our century, Annemarie Kremer, I had such a great time with my fellow singers, who came from all over the world! The music was intense, yes, but oh so powerful.
