Starting in 2024 I’ve become a so-called remplacant for the Netherlands Radio Choir (Groot Omroepkoor), one of the best choirs in the world. They specialize in all choral repertoire, and for my first foray into this new ensemble I was asked to join a MASSIVE undertaking: Schönbergs GurreLieder in the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, led by none other than Riccardo Chailly!
After this fantastic start I have since joined Messe 3 – A. Bruckner and Golgotha – F. Martin, both intricate choral pieces that require the utmore care in preparation. I really enjoy the musical level the choir brings, and the process of shaping music so detailed together with my colleagues! I find it’s a wonderful addition to my solo-, creation and production work.
